Carnival Victory Cruise

We flew to Miami the night before the cruise and stayed at
the Wyndham Miami Airport- a very nice hotel with an airport shuttle service .
Embarkation was a mess, it took two hours to get on the ship. Enough said about
that!
We checked out our cabin, 8266 on Verandah deck and met Scott, our
steward. He was awesome and took very good care of us all week. Then we went to
Lido deck for lunch and our first "Drink of the Day." We met up with our
friends, Al & Angele, and Kelly & John. We also met another nice couple, Gary &
Diane, that we spent some good times with all during the cruise. We all
got in the party mood and enjoyed the scenery as we sailed away from Miami.

The Next Day was our first "Fun Day At Sea", so we had fun! We ate a lot of food, explored the ship, and watched the Survivor game. This was our first formal night, so we got all dressed up and went to the Captain's Cocktail Party and had dinner in the dining room. We didn't attend any of the shows on this cruise, but had fun with Kevin in the Irish Sea Bar, and enjoyed listening to Julie Kryk on the promenade.
