Drip pan / raised grid setup for the Small Egg

I bent some metal to hold a disposable pie pan.
Any metal strong enough to hold the weight of
whatever you plan to put in the pan and strong
enough to withstand the heat without bending.
These were just some scrap metal from a
commercial light fixture.

I put them in the grooves in the top of the firering.

Then put the pie pan on them. Do not use
anything over 9" as it will restrict to much
air flow, you also want your braces to keep
the pie pan up against the bottom of the grid
so your pan doesn`t end up in the lump.

I took a split firebrick and broke it into
smaller pieces and stacked them 2 thick on the
first grid.
