Belize- We booked a Carnival excursion for this port, Snorkel at Turneffe Atoll and Beach Break. The plan was to avoid tendering and this excursion picked us up on a 65 foot catamaran right at the ship. We had a nice ride to the snorkel spot, and the reef was beautiful, though the water was just a bit choppy. We didn't take any pictures while snorkeling this time, we just wanted to relax and enjoy. Then as we were getting ready to leave, a man on the excursion boat next to ours had to be brought out of the water, unconscious. Both crews worked together to help the man. We had two nurses on our boat who got on the other boat and some of the tourists from that excursion rode with us. We all were going to Bannister Island for the beach break, so everyone got sorted out in the end, and the man was fine. We had a great surprise on Bannister Island, the rest of our group had taken the Beach Break excursion, and they were all there too!
