Day Two-Nassau, Bahamas

Our goal this cruise was to relax, so we booked no excursions and never rushed to get off the ship!

Nassau was a short day, the Glory would be leaving at 2 pm. We had a nice breakfast and left the ship at 9:30. Our goal was the Straw Market & Senor Frog's, which were a short walk away. We bought a few things at the market but it was very hot inside, so didn't stay too long. A nice cold beer at Senor Frog's picked us up! We then just shopped our way back to the ship by 12:30 for lunch.

Here are some pictures taken of Nassau from the ship. We got very close to shore as Glory was turning around to head out of port.

Tonight was the first formal night and the Captain's Cocktail Party. We got our first look at the Cruise Director, Wee Jimmy in his formal kilt. He was the funniest cruise director we ever saw and it really added to the enjoyment of our cruise.

We had a table for four in the upper level of the Golden Dining Room.
Our wait team of Jaime and Marcia were the greatest! We never missed dinner because they were so much fun. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that our favorite Lido bartender, Rudy, was also serving drinks in the dining room! The very handsome assistant Maitre' D, Igor, stopped by our table every night. We ladies fell in love! After dinner, Rick, Bonnie & I attended the show, Livin In America, while Wess spent time in the casino.

Day Three-Fun Day At Sea

We had breakfast in the Platinum Dining Room, love the Eggs Benedict! We spent a lot of time on the balcony, wandered the ship,& watched the ice carving & hairy chest contest- too funny! In the evening, Wess & I attended the past guest party, then we checked out some of the clubs.
