Saturday- Fun Day At Sea

Which turned out not to be too much fun for me! We decided to get our packing done early, so we would have the rest of the day to relax. The seas were very rough and I got seasick for the first time in my life! We went to a lower deck midship; I got a ginger ale and looked out a window. I started feeling better and was fine in the evening, so we went to Frankie & Johnnies and listened to the Boardwalk Live band for a few hours.

Sunday- Welcome Back To Tampa

We couldn’t dock at the cruise port due to an oil tanker in the channel, so we had to dock elsewhere and take a bus back to the terminal. The bus ride was short, but when we got back, it was very congested and they kept everyone on the bus for an hour. We finally had enough and just walked off. Others followed us. Customs was quick and we were done. We walked right across the street to the aquarium, where they will hold your luggage. We toured the aquarium and then took the Eco Tour, where we hoped to see dolphins, but only saw a few. Still it was a nice boat ride and a good way to spend the time until our flight.

We shared a cab to the airport with another couple- Our flight was delayed and we got home very late, so the last day of vacation wasn’t the greatest, but overall, it was an enjoyable cruise.
